We are often asked where we find the computers we donate. At one time we had to find a computer here and a computer there. Now with the great advances being made in personal computers and software the consequent upgrading that takes place means there are many available to us for our program with many coming from industry and business. So first of all a big thank you to all those organizations who have assisted in this way.

We would like to particularly acknowledge Microsoft Canada, who through their Kid Reach program has assisted us from the first. Microsoft's continued support has been and will always be greatly appreciated by CFK and its recipients. Their vision, of educating our youth, is one we strongly believe in and we will continue to achieve the standards they have set for us.

Local computer dealers such as Computer Direct and G&S Computer Services, along with others, have always been kind.

Some government support, either direct or indirect, has been received from The Government of Canada, through Paul Devillers, M.P. and Diane Kloosterman of his Midland office, who assisted with support and help in obtaining the necessary documentation to carry on our work. Representatives of The Ontario Provincial Government have assisted in smoothing the way for some donations of equipment to be made. The Township of Tiny and the City of Barrie have helped in many other ways.

The considerable contribution of the local media has meant so much to us in providing initial momentum: The Barrie Advance newspaper group (and especially their local reporter, Kim Goggins) for their continued support over their whole distribution area has meant a continual flow of contributions and access to those who need computers for their children. Our major local television station, traditional supporters of the community - named CKVR, then The New VR and now: A-Channel has provided on-air coverage on a number of occasions.

Plus YOU - the general public, who have made donations of funds and of countless personal computers and equipment.
